CGE committee
The Committee for Gender Equity shall consist of up to 8 individuals, one of whom is the Chair or two of whom serve as Co-Chairs. CGE members will all serve 2-year terms. The CGE will consist of the following composition:
1. A majority (5) shall be women, transgender, or non-binary people.
a. Of this majority, one shall be a woman, transgender, or non-binary person with active status as a graduate student for a minimum of the first academic year of their term. Consideration will also be given to those who plan to begin graduate school in August of their first year of service to the CGE. Should an individual no longer retain full-time student status for the minimum one year requirement, they will be ineligible to serve on the CGE in this specific capacity, and the resultant vacancy filled.
2. One shall be a cisgender man.
3. Two positions shall be open to all genders.
