Nicole Baldelli
Nicole Baldelli is an active saxophonist and music educator in Ocean County, New Jersey, having taught in the public schools for the last decade. Nicole regularly plays with various ensembles throughout the area including the Toms River Municipal Band, the Lakewood Patriotic Band (formerly the Georgian Court University Wind Ensemble) and the Brass Tacks Jazz Orchestra. Miss Baldelli has also performed with several professional ensembles including the South Jersey Area Wind Ensemble, the Philadelphia Wind Symphony, and the Eastern Wind Symphony, performing at the 75th Midwest Clinic, the international band and orchestra conference. Nicole earned her B.M. in Music Education from Moravian College, and her M.M. in Performance from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, where she studied with Dr. Paul Cohen. Through these universities, Nicole had the opportunity to perform with Harry Connick Jr, Randy Brecker, and Phil Woods, and attend masterclasses with Hungarian clarinetist and saxophonist Bence Szepesi. Through Miss Baldelli’s tutelage, she has helped students prepare for auditions and gain acceptance into various military bands and college music programs. In her spare time, Nicole enjoys taking her dog on adventures, and serves as the music director at her local church.
